Connoisseur Tours

The family are delighted to offer Connoisseur Tours of the private apartments every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday during our open season.

Allowing access to some of the most splendid rooms in the Castle, including the Stone Drawing Room, the Library and the Billiard Room. Fine examples of masterpieces can by seen by artists such as Rubens, Van Dyck and Claude Lorraine. The tour gives a fascinating opportunity to learn the origin of many paintings and artefacts, as well as many stories and anecdotes from the incredible life span of this historic Castle. The insight into the history of Sudeley is not to be missed, and will give you an invaluable knowledge to really enhance your visit.

Tours operate every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 11am, 1pm & 3pm.

Tickets are £13 per person which includes tour, gardens and exhibitions (£4.50 for HHA members). Please note that there is a maximum of 15 people per tour and places are filled on a first come first served basis through the 'Online Booking' page on this website and on the day bookings made on arrival at the Visitors Centre. To pre-book your visit and Connoisseur Tour online click here

These tours are not suitable for those with mobility difficulties as they last over 1 hour, include stairs and there are no sitting areas or early exiting. We regret that children under the age of 12 are not permitted on the Connoisseur Tours.

You should arrive at least 15 minutes before your tour start time to allow time to come through the Visitor Centre and walk up to the meeting point.
