The Ruins Garden

The stunning Banqueting Hall ruins provide a dramatic yet romantic backdrop for this understated garden.

It has been cleverly designed to look as if it has been left to grow wild, whereas of course it is just as well tended as the rest of our gardens. Curtains of clematis and rose are draped from the gothic windows, and there is a real sense that time has stood still in this particular magical ruin.
