1535: Henry VIII - Romance & Intrigue at Sudeley

Sudeley Castle was amongst Henry VIII’s Royal residences. In the summer of 1535 the King and his Queen, Anne Boleyn, visited the Castle attended by a vast train of courtiers and baggage.

The exhibition consists of Tudor artefacts and colourful murals depicting scenes at Sudeley and in Winchcombe. These tie in with an audio description, bringing to life some of the details of Henry’s and Anne’s stay.
