Please note that other than organised House Tours on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays there is no access to the private family rooms within Sudeley Castle.
We are excited to offer exclusive guided tours of the family's private rooms, taking in the fine masterpieces by artists such as Rubens, Van Dyke and Claude Lorraine. Tours run on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and last for approximately one and a quarter hours. This tour is not suitable for those with mobility difficulties as there are stairs, no sitting areas and no early exiting. Up to 16 people per tour.
Tour of the Gardens
Fridays and Saturdays
£5.00 plus General Admission per person. Includes a 25% discount card to use in the gift shop (exclusions apply). No children under 12yrs. Not suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
New for 2013, we are delighted to introduce guided tours of our award-winning gardens written and often led by garden design and horticulture expert Lyn Hall. This tour takes you throughout the gardens and describes Sudeley's history as well as details of the gardens on this tour which last just over an hour. Available on Fridays and Saturdays at 11am and 1pm for up to 16 people. Private group tours can be arranged by request subject to availability.
Gardening for Wildlife Tours
Special Tours in association with Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust
£14.00 per person. Includes General Admission. No concessions. No children under 12yrs. Not suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
In support of the Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust’s Living Gardens programme Lady Ashcombe invites you to come and see Sudeley Castle’s gardens and wildlife.
Join us on this specially designed tour which has been created by Lyn Hall and Jon Hodder, Sudeley Gardener, to show you some of the inspiring projects that have been undertaken.
For over 15 years Sudeley has been gardening organically and supports hundreds of wildlife species within its many niche gardens, castle ruins and medieval stew pond including slow worms, toads, bee orchids, disease resistant elms, bumble bees, dragonflies, king fishers and nuthatches to name a few.
Walks leave at 3pm and last for approx. 1 hour and 15 minutes. Maximum of 15 people per tour.
